Dr. Bill Salbador, M.D., P.C.
Dr. Bill Salbador of NW Psychiatry; originally from Montana, came to Eugene to attend the University of Oregon. He graduated from Oregon in 1988. After graduation, Dr. Salbador attended Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) where he completed medical school in 1994. From there, he served his Internship at Sacred Heart Hospital in Spokane, Washington. He then return to OHSU to complete a Psychiatry Residency from 1995 to 1998. He then completed a Geriatric Psychiatric Fellowship at the Portland VA Medical Center in Portland, from 1998 to 1999. After completing his psychiatric training, he served a short time in 1999-2000 at Douglas Community Medical Center in Roseburg, working in the In-Patient Geriatric Care Unit as well as in a Senior outpatient clinic. It was at this time in Early 2000 that Dr. Salbador felt compelled to enter into his own private practice, initially in Roseburg and later in Eugene. He has been practicing psychiatry in Eugene, Oregon since 2003.
